dedmanshootn > strangled iris 05/28/08 i did laundry today and as its 4 flights of stairs each way once i get down i usually stay down until the laundry's done. i took my camera and shot quite a few things in the laundry room i thought i might use for a dp. will probably post something from them but i went outside while the dryers were running and found this shot i liked best for today

dedmanshootn > poultry pulchritude parade 05/31/08 was my kind of morning, weatherwise (cool, cloudy and threatening rain), but most people's kind of weather in the evening. i took 'miss geniality' http://dedmanshootn.smugmug.com/popular/2/283302079_7GWWP#283302079_7GWWP for a walk as it was a beautiful evening and she was stuck at the restaurant. we walked all around the neighborhood seeing many fine things to draw (her) and photograph (me) but nothing really struck me as a daily. then we went up a street we never had before and came across these chickens out running around in the yards and street and viola. these don't have the bling like ladykate's but i ain't much of a bling guy

dedmanshootn > depression 06/25/08 i'm not depressed, at least no more than usual ;-), but i decided to try one of those 'concept' type shots to see what i could come up with. talked with a friend on the phone who was feeling down, both of us felt much better after a good visit as friends so often do, so gave it a whirl for my concept

dedmanshootn > bluebells plus 05/08/08 first, i apologize for not getting to anyone's pics yesterday. i had brutal allergy attack and just barely managed to stagger through work then back home where i crashed and burned til about an hour ago when it rained haevily. THANK GOD FOR RAIN! i love rain generally but especially right now as its cleared the air of whatever was getting to me enough that my air treatment machine is handling it so that i can at least basically function. i shot this for 2 simple reasons: i thought it pretty and it happened to be where i had to sit to catch my breath as best i could as i climbed the hill home
