dedmanshootn > mt shuksan (southwest detail) 08/19/09 view at largest to check out the cool, ;-), glacier detail. thanks so much for all the kind well wishes and wishes i get well. very much appreciated. not healing as fast as i'd like but about as fast as is normal for my age doc says. still stuck in the 'boot', has about the same affect as when they 'boot' your car for illeagal parking. perhaps shouldn't have gotten this pic but.... sunday my sis really wanted to go to the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, especially heather meadows and artist's point, which were some of DOD's fav places in the entire world. we were both missing DOD a bit extra as sunday would've been his seventy-eigth b-day. foot healing-wise i probably shouldn't have gone but i tried to take it easy and there's more to healing than just the physical i think. the day with my sis couldn't have been better. we both took a "few" pics and i finally processed a couple so i'm sharing this one with you now. still can't keep my foot elevated while using puter so won't be on much but wanted to let you knwo i'm still alive, if not yet kickin. wanted to try this in b&w as somehow the day in the mountains made both sis and i think of ansel adams work. the links are to info on the area and a color version. hope you're aware of your many blessings today. i'm trying to be info: http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/mbs/recreation/trip-planning-sr542.shtml color: http://dedmanshootn.smugmug.com/gallery/4446648_UeMnr#624391896_BVgH2
