having already achieved geezerhood at his half-century mark dedmanshootn needed something else to do so took up photography. this, along with gaming and chatting, reading, and enjoying good grub, keeps him amused and in a bare minimum of trouble.


i've been informed my prices are ridiculously underpriced. my philosophy is that any and all art is made to be enjoyed and thus should be affordable so i certainly hope this is true.

i've had several inquiries about my equipment so, for you technophiles out there here it is (such as it is):
digital platform: pentax k100d
(can't call it a camera because many years ago i used cameras and believe me this is NOTHING like them!)
lenses: pentax smc/da 18-55mm (matched to 'camera' so uses all features) vivtar 80-200mm (old 35mm camera lens so only works manually) rokinon 500mm f8
accessories: sunpak 660 ut tripod, shoulder bag to carry the tripod so i'll use it more (ty fam), new 'kit' bag (ty chuck) to haul this stuff around on the bus
software: pentax s-sw53 (the basic disc that came with the k100d), photoshop elements 5.0

street deacons car show 2008 : car show at the good shepherd community church sponsored by the street deacons car club. the weather was perfect; the vehichles were varied and terrific; the exhibitors were many and friendly; food was plentiful and delicious; the fine crowd was having a great time; the only thing not perfect was i had too little time and enrgy to do the event justice. i missed way too many people and vehichles, not because i didn't want to get a shot but i just came up short. if you or yours aren't in here i apologize. we'll just have to try again next year
